Credit Card Outage - Update

We want to give you an update before the weekend. At this time, we still have no further news regarding the credit card outage. We hope to resolve the issue in the next two weeks. We are making changes so this outage does not occur again since this has hurt us as a company, and -- most importantly -- you as a member.

We are working on this issue from many angles, and will have more news shortly. Please note that you can still use an American Express credit card.

AlertPay Balance

There has been a substantial surge in deposits to fund AlertPay Balances. With 3 Million members, business account holders are benefiting from members with AlertPay balances!

  2. Thanks for the update and the work you are doing behind the scenes. I'm taking a substantial hit from not being able to process visa/mastercard and I'm not sure I can last another two weeks without moving elsewhere. I'm sure you're working tirelessly to sort this out, and I'll hang in here as long as I can. It's reassuring to have these updates. Good luck guys!

  3. I want to thank you guys at AP for doing such a fine job of sorting out the problems with the CC's. there is only one thing I would like to mention, more and more businesses are out looking for alternatives to AP, a lot of people has taken a knock from this issue in our team alone there must be around 3,500 members thats been affected, not a nice thing to see as this is only one team. Its staggering if you do some calculations and come to an answer that is astronomical, and that is currency lost to the already down economy worldwide,we can only trust that this issue is resolved rather sooner than later, we trust in AP and you have all my support no matter what

  11. Im wondering whats really going on with the alertpay system. Why is it taking so long to get this problem resolved. Can someone please tell me. I believe we have a right to know.

  12. I hope there is a resolution soon. I feel for the webmasters here (all for that matter) who have deployed and rely on the alertpay system.

In addition, I can only imagine the damage done to alertpay.com by actions out of their control.
The erosion of reputation, trust, user base and the their own income. It's clear that consumers use Visa and Mastercard far more than American Express.
With that said, the damage has to be incredible to all.

In our case the timing of this problem hit just prior to us fully launching custom built AlertPay applications to handle payments. We lost development time but no customer revenue.

I would suggest anyone affected by this contact the numbers provided by alertpay and perhaps that will help expedite a resolution.

Keep your heads up everyone and good luck.
