Visa Card Processing is Up and Running Again

We are happy to announce that starting today we will be processing Visa card payments again. Mastercard and AmEx are next in line, so please bear with us. To ensure full compliance with association rules, we will be changing some of our terms and practices in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated.

On another note, you will soon have the option of getting billed in your local credit card currency if your card is denominated in CAD, EUR or GBP. In the past, you could only be billed in USD. However, with this new arrangement, we can process credit card payments in an additional three currencies.

Here's how this benefits you: No more additional foreign exchange fees on your credit card statement, saving you lots of money!

  2. Can you perhaps tell us some of the known practices and terms that will be changing?

    I am unsure how this will be affecting alertpay. Will we still be able to sell without being verified before payment of money?

    We need AMEX and Mastercard back up as soon as possible. Though Visa is the most popular, I won't use your services until all are back up.

    In regards to billing in different currencies, that is great news. Please get things fully up and running.

  14. I'd love to say "Oh, thank you for your efforts... but... No. I've lost money as a results of this."

    How about keeping us updated by mail, homogonising your blogs, forums and god knows what else and actually helping your clients by centralising information and making it accesible.

    The fact that I even have to access a webpage to get the information looses time and we all know what time is...

  15. Hi if someone funds alertpay by credit card so as to spend to one of your merchants, then tries or is successful at initiating a chargeback what occurs.? Is there some info on this? Do they lose their alertpay acc for example?

  17. I am also interested in when will the Credit Card use in Romania be available.

    Not having this feature on, delays or just shifts to PayPal all the credit card purchases that I receive.
