The 7-day limit for refunds is a bit hard to use. For pre-order items it's almost impossible to guarantee a specific arrival date.

If the customer needs the money back for whatever reason; or if the item cannot be stocked, 7 days isn't a large enough window to issue the refund.

60 days is more than enough to allow for this, and to give the customer time to decide whether or not they actually intend to keep the item. Other providers use this window and it's worked well in our favor and kept customers happy.

Hello Alertpay,
I run a membership website and members MUST have an Alertpay personal pro or better account to be able to accept website payments.

The problem that I am hearing most is that people do not know what type of Alertpay account they have and that it is not easy to find it in their Alertpay account to be able to change their Alertpay account type.

Regarding the refund time, we have already increased the amount of time in which a seller can refund a buyer from 7 to 14 days. Please note that after 14 days have elapsed, you can use the "Send Money" feature to refund your customer. However, they will have to initiate a withdrawal to claim their money. Luckily, our withdrawal options are quick, secure and flexible.

Regarding the translation of our website into French, this is a project that is under way. We do not have an exact date as to when we will launch the French site, but we hope to make it available soon. Please note that we have a few qualified French-speaking Customer Support Specialists who would be happy to answer your questions.

Lastly, regarding a more intuitive way of changing account type, we will definitely take this very good idea into consideration.

Hello, I think buenisimo system and the very useful, thanks for giving us this system.

Two things.

Why not translate the page into other languages, for example I find a little cmplicado and qe speak Spanish, and this functions you can not find any.

Ive got to say that this payment processor is the most user unfiendly service I have ever used! What I mean is that customer service is absolutly nonexistant. What cant you do you make your website better? Answer you stinking phones for one and secondly andswer customer emails! Its been about a year since I tried to contact customer service and NOW I finally have an opertunity to give feedback.

I dont know how many South Africans are using your service but Iam and alertpay is a great service must commend you guys on the great work you do.

The one thing I had trouble with was making a deposit at the very start using my internet banking channel. I dont know what it looks like on the FNB internet banking channel but for standard bank and Absa customers we have to know your FNB bank branch name or code, this piece of vital information is sent to a users email rather than displayed on the alertpay users account page, would be great if you can modify that.

Also the bank deposit code is known as beneficiary reference on our internet banking channels. It makes it much less confusing if that were mentioned on your site rather than a bank deposit code.

The reason I mention this is because although Im savvy with computers and forms etc, I had trouble at the start and I referred a friend to alertpay but he had trouble with his internet banking channel and did not want to take the risk even when I offered to help him.

I want to say that alert pay don't support any indian bank so its diffucult for all indian user to deposit or withdraw money into their bank account. And if we select check method, it take so long, so please support some indian band so that it is easy and helpful for all indian users

You need to speed up bank transfer payments from 5 business days to a more reasonable 3 business days. It shouldn't take 5 business days when a person sends the funds from their bank to show up in their AlertPay account.

the charge for transfer is to high for starters atleast.. and people in india cannot even transver through bank tranfer so atleast avail them online purchases or so on

I run a website which requires payment through Alert Pay and yet when members join they are told to become verified before they can transfer funds or make any payments. Why not give 60 days grace for people to send the required documnets to get verified? If prospects find it difficult to use when they register, they will be disheartened and you will lose them straight away.

I think that Alertpay is a good vartual banking system. So its should provide a system to buy or sell anything in online from internet any time. I mean that they shoudl open a card system. It may be credit or debit card. But it is important that this card shoul be international.

I suggest that the alertpay account verification should be like others like liberty reserve, e-gold where individuals can verify their account without submiting ID cards and utility bills or people can submit only their passport photographs to verify their accounts.

Alertpay is a great bank.
It has a lot of features such as it is fast and easy to use .
It also deal with a lot of websites .
But there is only one problem .It is that Alertpay take a long time in Pending Account Verification . By now it took 15 days to pend account verification and didn`t finish up to now.

Personally I would like to see you put PayPal out of commission! Are you offering Debit or Credit cards yet?
The key is to be as user friendly as possible. Allowing members to send and receive funds seamlessly and to have the ability to deposit into our bank accounts promptly whenever we wish to do so.

Your site is really amazing, is very eficient and support is great. It would be nice if you can provide localized bank transfer for Colombia, and if possible, lower a bit the receive fee.

A feature i didn't find is that once you have configured a bank account, you can't see the configuration details, in order to correct or verify data.

Hi, I have beem trying to get verified and it said 10 business days? It has been 15 and as yet nothing? I also phoned to try and check, but someone who did not speak english seemed to answer?

It's great that you I at last could found a payment processor that pays into a South African bank account. Paypal is useless and South Africans can't even accept payments there. It would be great if more sites can use Alertpay because everybody seems to be using paypal. I have one question. I marked in my account that I will accept payments from unverified accounts but the person that needs to pay the money into my account couldn't do it unless he was verified and he said he was told it take up to 50 days. The site says only ten days.

Alertpay should introduce a debit card like the one used by 2co.com. VISA or MasterCard branded People should be able to withdraw fund to this card or alertpay and access anywhere visa or mastercard is allowed worldwide. Wire transfer is very expensive and takes alot of time.

baou9: AlertPay is never likely to get into eBay as PayPal and eBay are related companies. AlertPay is a direct competitor to PayPal.

AlertPay Robyn: I am quite happy with the way AlertPay works for me.

The idea of ATM access through Visa card has merit, and hopefully this is in the works.

Multiple-language websites are always the aim for successful ventures, but the translating of the main site can be hampered without suitable staff, etc. I'm sure that this will happen in due course.

I thank you for the AlertPay service. I wish other online payment processors would take a leaf from your book.

I enjoy using your services as I get all the necessary support and your updates on the account in time.My suggestion is if it would be possible at a glance, that is account overview, to tell the particular programes that have sent or received the funds to/from the account as what I see most is the email addresses.

Now, that is what we call "feedback"! Thank you all for your ideas and opinions. We will take a closer look at all of your comments and see where we can make improvements on the site.

Just to keep you all adrift, we are currently working on translating the site into French (as we reside in Montreal, Quebec) and making the verification process automatic and therefore, faster.

It is one of our hopes to have the website translated into Spanish, among other languages.

We would like to offer localized banking to everyone, but we can only make this happen one country at a time. But this is on the task list along with many other ideas we would like to see come to fruition.

Well, having only USD check and costly bank wire as the only modes of withdrawal for Indian accounts bugs me out. I have considerable balance in my business account and look for a better and faster withdrawal method.

Please consider introducing direct withdrawal to credit/debit card (like paypal allows towards visa cards).

I also have a payoneer MC debit card; if there was an opion to link it up to my alertpay a/c and withdraw, it'd have been great.

I have no such difficulty in accessing the site. But the problem is transferring the amount to my bank account (Bank Transfer and not Bank Wire).

If you can provide the facility to Indians too, then it is very easier to use.

I think alertpay should get a step forward and make the option of funding my alertpay account via mobile balance, or withdraw the alertpay fund via mobile balance. Alertpay will shine more and more after that option.

Alert Pay has been good to work with but there are a couple things I would like to see change-

I would like to see a debit card added so you can instantly withdraw funds (PayPal has this and it was a super convenience)

Also alot of my customers are expats living in different countries then their own personal bank accounts are from. Alert Pay blcks their initial signup of a new account because their location is different then their banks location :(
This little problem still requires me to use paypal (Yuck!)

i faced this problem not long ago. i submitted correct username and password. But the system says i insert the wrong email or password. So i click on the forget password and follow the step to change to new password. After change i use the new password to login and the system still stated the same message. I repeated the forget password step and tried to login but again the system says the same thing.

But now i was able to login to my alertpay account. I wonder what's going wrong earlier. Hope this kind of problem do not occurs in the future.

Another issues is, my account got changed to personal pro on 29th july 2009, which is not done by me, and i got charged with fees until i notice it on 1st august 2009. I manually changed my account back to personal starter and had already submit a support ticket. Hope the respective staff help to solve my problem.

But overall, alertpay is a good payment processor and i was satisfied with the staff after contacting them several times.

i get the email say "You have successfully created a deposit transaction but still have 1 more step remaining! Please make arrangements to transfer funds from your bank account" what that mean.

I always find it difficult to remove a credit card I do not want to use anymore and add a replacement. I get an error message stating I have exceeded the limit of 2 credit cards allowed. I have addressed this problem several times with the support desk but don't seem to get the assistance I need. All I need to know is, are you not allowed to remove a CC you no longer want to use in the system and replace it with an alternative one?

my guess to those complaining about lack of support for their countries would be due to the amount of fraudulent business and other transactions that come from those regions - which i am willing to bet some of you are also involved in. I for one thank AlertPay for taking their time with verifications and limiting of certain countries - i think there are more then enough scammers on the net as it is!

Alertpay is good but the support system should be more fast and efficient in responding to customer peoblems and queries. Services should be delivered as promised or claimed in the website of alertpay. For example ir is mentioned within 10 business days the account verification procedure will be completed. But it is already 13-14 business days I applied for verification and still it is pending. Raised a support ticket but there is not reply to that either. So these are issues I want alertpay to deal in a fast manner.
