We recently launched a new process called "Website Review". This process is for sellers only and can be completed in two simple steps: submitting your website address and completing a questionnaire.
Anyone with a Personal Pro or Business account who wants to sell goods/services online must now complete this simple process.
If you are a SELLER and have done a website review, please let us know what you think about it. How can we improve it? Make it easier? Please share your feedback on Website Review with us and the AlertPay community!
You can leave a comment here or on our Facebook page.

The review process was pretty straight forward.
I didnt have any problems.
One problem I can see happening is some people who have websites might have had someone else build it for them. And if the website owner does not know how to upload the confirmation file to their server then I there may be extra expense for them to have someone do it for them.
Maybe there could be an email/telephone confirmation option available too?
Other than that, very quick process.. Now waiting on approval.
One thing tho.. If my site is not approved will I be told what needs to be changed for a second review?
Cheers
Eoin
What about those of us who send products online thru email? There's not an option for it.
Hi humbuged
Those who don't have a website, no worries. You simple follow the instructions that state "Don't have a website".
I find that very inconvenient. I signed up for all kinds of affiliate programs. I am also buying from small businesses like text ad exchanges. If payment from an affiliate program comes directly to me, maybe I myself can get approval. I did that for one such site. But it's inconvenient to submit them all, and other affiliates may simply not do it.
But if I have no business submitting the site because the payment does not come directly to me, there are several problems. One, keeping a balance that allows me to pay. In fact, I'm afraid of not being able to pay my subscriptions if my balance will be insufficient and the owners of those businesses did not get their sites verified. That, I can't know. Two, people will not sign up because of their own insufficient balances or because it looks bad if a site won't accept credit cards. Three, my inability to pay when I want to, unless I made sure I have a balance well in advance. I had that problem with some ad exchange very recently. But even if I do have a balance, I lose other things, such as the rewards from my credit card company for using their card (there is no such reward if paying out of the AlertPay balance), and the ability to use my real money to reduce my credit card balance and then still order instead of having to find the money twice, once for the card and once to give it to AlertPay. I'm not happy!
so far it has been abad and very frustrating paper work just like our dear gouvr. what a waist of time.what they will think next to loose time, plus it's again us the cosumer that are loosing.Bravo AlertPay .My cancellation will follow.
Dani51,
Thanks for your feedback. The process is supposed to be very fast and easy. If you're finding it frustrating, perhaps there is some misunderstanding. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete and only brings you value. If you have further comments, please email the Business Development department and we'll be happy to clarify things further.
Hi Monica,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I understand your comments fully. You will always be able to accept payments from AlertPay Balance which includes Balance + Credit Card payments from logged in members.
This process is for merchants to accept credit card payments from non-members primarily.
Please submit a ticket to our Business Development department so someone can follow up with you to assist you and ensure there is no impact to your business. Please refer to your blog posting.
As said before, i like the idea of knowing I am up to date with policies and filling in a simple form the insures me policies are spot on is simple.. but....
I never got a reply saying if my site passed the inspection. So unfortunitly I have had to revert back to the evil jaws of paypal. For that reason and the mastercard issue. As much as i love Alertpay I can rely on them at this time. 1 Year ago alertpay were fantastic, today its all gone up in the air. I will keep an eye on things here and when Alertpay have everything back to normal i will return.
I'm Really really sorry alertpay :( but its my busy season selling fancy dress and I need to be able to take credit card payment without loosing customers becasue the process was too long for them to use mastercard.
