Guess what? There's an AlertPay website re-design in the works!

Attention AlertPay members,

In an attempt to streamline our website and enhance usability and your understanding of our services, we are re-designing our website. This has been in the works for quite a while and we are almost done! We're hoping to launch the new site, in English and French, by the end of February.

We will be optimizing some existing content to be more explanatory, and will also be including loads of new, exciting and useful content. The site will be very similar to the existing one, but we will be focusing on our two main audiences: sellers and buyers.

We will be including two fun tutorials on how you can use AlertPay to shop online and to sell online. Among many other things, we are also creating some documentation for sellers and shoppers on how to do some very specific things with your accounts, like how to add a bank account, how to cancel a subscription and how to grant a refund. All that fun stuff!

We want to make our services as easy as possible by giving you the tools and resources you need to do what you have to do online.

Although we have a very comprehensive knowledgebase, we know that even more knowledge is power and so is more useful content!

There is so much more to tell, but we have to keep a few surprises. However, you will agree that the new site will be the best AlertPay has ever had.

More details to come soon and have a great week! Guess what? There's an AlertPay website re-design in the works!

  1. Robyn, with this new release, are you planning on improving your twitter usage? I wish it were more interactive there and I hope it gets that way. so much can be done on twitter - it would be great to see it happening soon!

  2. Hi Joseph,

We have a great many plans for the New Year, including our social media engagements. We are fairly new to the whole social media phenomenon and would very much like to use these tools to our greatest advantage.

If you have any tips or suggestions, we welcome them! Thanks for the feedback!

  4. Hi Steliyan,

We actually have not launched the re-design yet, so you're seeing our current website, but we appreciate the compliment!

Regarding multilingual support, we are still working on this. We hope to provide more support in other languages in the future. However, we will be offering support in languages for which there is a bigger demand.

As we are located in Quebec, we must first offer service in French, followed by Spanish to accommodate our large customer base in the U.S. After we can provide these two high-demand languages, we will branch out into other languages based on demand and priority.

Thank you for your question. Please stay tuned for more exciting updates!

  6. Por favor, también piensen en las personas de habla hispana que requerimos del servicio. No se olviden de poner también en español, es un beneficio para millones. Gracias

  7. So the Alertpay staff responds a lot quicker on here huh. Hey I was just curious when Alertpay would start advertising their services to more clients online. I understand the difficulty of this but who is in charge of making deals with companies and stuff?

  8. I'm getting some errors sometimes, is this because the work of the new design?

This is a capture of a problem when I tried to do a currency exchange:

Also it would be nice if you add Spanish to the supported languages. I can help with the translation if you want :P !

  9. Hi,

As I am the Web Content person here at AlertPay, I do not provide support to our members, but rather answer very general questions. That is why questions get answered faster here.

Also, I only answer a few questions here and there, while our very hard-working Customer Support team answers hundreds in a day, which may explain the longer wait.

Also, our Business Development team is in charge of reaching out to new merchants and business partners. We are also in the midst of a press campaign in which we are starting to get a little bit more media attention.

Please check out AlertPay in the news for an example of this: http://blog.alertpay.com/2009/07/alertpay-in-news_30.html

And "Distante", regarding the error, it has nothing to do with our re-design as that is all happening behind the behind-the-scenes, so to speak.

If you have any problems doing a currency exchange, I recommend waiting just a little bit longer and trying again. If that doesn't work, please contact Customer Support.

    Thanks for your input!
