We wanted to share some exciting news with you! What else is new?
New office upstairs
As we've mentioned on several occasions, the AlertPay team is growing fast. So fast, that we just finished renovating another floor at our Montreal office for our Customer Support and Sales teams. Over the weekend, a select group of dedicated employees came in to help move desks, computers, and all manner of workplace paraphernalia to the brand spanking new office space upstairs.
The employees were pleasantly surprised with the bright and shiny open-concept office on the first floor with plenty of room to grow and lots of large windows, allowing in warm natural light which trumps the buzzing fluorescent variety.
And no more will the cafeteria overflow with droves of staff and competing food smells; we have TWO kitchens now, so lunch is now more of a relaxing event than a competition for elbow room. Not that we don't enjoy being close, but there's regular "close" and then there's just too close.
International Start-up Festival follow up
We also wanted to share a photo of Firoz taken by Montreal photographer, Eva Blue, in action at the International Startup Festival:
Firoz gave a great talk on attracting and retaining talented employees -- a topic that has leads to further expansion of the office and our team. Why else would we expand our office other than to fill it with talented and enthusiastic staff?
